As I look to the future, I am continually fascinated by the interplay of geography, ecology and artistic interpretation. Each project-whether it’s a commission for a conservation group educational resource, or personal exploration-offers an opportunity to blend science with imagination. My ongoing exploration of digital tools has allowed me to bridge the tactile traditions of painting and drawing with the limitless possibilities of technology, leading to works that honor both the delicate details of nature and the dynamic energy of modern media. Through workshops and collaborations with local organizations, I strive to nurture a sense of wonder about the region’s landscapes in others. Witnessing someone discover a trail on one of my maps or see their home region anew through graphic rendering reminds me why I set out on this creative journey.
