CANCELLED – Mootenanny | Mountain Heritage and Music
A second year Appalachian music and heritage event, Mootenanny is a celebration of mountain culture with an emphasis on folk music, arts, crafts and specialty food and drinks. Folkmoot will host musical acts on a main stage and a variety of heritage events, including Plott Hounds, demonstrators, and vendors who specialize in southern Appalachian culture. Held at the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds over two days.
TICKETS FOR THIS EVENT WILL GO ON SALE WHEN STATE AND LOCAL OFFICIALS AND FOLKMOOT STAFF DETERMINE THAT THE CONCERT CAN BE SAFELY HELD. THANK YOU AND STAY TUNED!
** Mootenanny 2020 is currently scheduled for Saturday, October 10, circumstances permitting. It was rescheduled from its original May date, and shortened to a one-day event, although we might schedule an additional Friday evening component, if possible. Many of the original presenters will still attend. We’ll announce details here. Thanks! **
