Peter Mawanga is an acclaimed Malawian musician and cultural ambassador known for Nyanja Afro-Vibes—a powerful blend of traditional instruments and contemporary sounds. His music, rooted in Malawi’s peaceful heritage, evokes healing, joy, and deep human connection.

A passionate storyteller, Peter created The Amaravi Movement and produced Mawu A Malawi, a globally recognized album amplifying the voices of Malawians living with HIV/AIDS. His immersive performances weave together live music, dance, film, and monologue, offering transformative cultural experiences.

Peter has toured internationally and was the first African artist to perform at the U.S. Department of State. With every performance, he brings the spirit of Malawi to the world stage.
